Application Surfaces & Material Guide

Step-by-Step Professional Application Protocol

To guarantee maximum product performance and coating longevity, follow this precise installation workflow used daily in our Lake Forest facility:

Phase 1: Surface Decontamination & Prep

1. Wash & Decontaminate: Meticulously wash the vehicle and utilize a clay bar to strip embedded surface contamination.

2. Paint Correction: Polish or compound the paintwork using silicone-free and wax-free polishing compounds (like Nasiol CleaRub 105 or 305) to eliminate existing scratches. Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly after polishing.

3. Panel Wipe: Wipe down all application zones using Nasiol Clean to remove residual polishing oils, ensuring a 100% chemically bare surface.

Phase 2: Coating Installation

1. Dial In the Climate: Work indoors, completely out of direct sunlight on a cool surface. Ideal shop conditions are 41°F to 86°F (5°C to 30°C) with roughly 50% relative humidity.

2. Setup Your Applicator: Put on the included nitrile gloves. Wrap a fresh suede cloth tightly around the foam side of the Nasiol applicator block. Shake the XR03 bottle gently.

3. Section Distribution: Work in manageable 2ft by 2ft areas at a time. Pour an essential amount of product onto the suede cloth (roughly 5–8mL covers a 2X2 grid). Always close the bottle cap between sections.

4. Criss-Cross Application: Spread the coating evenly over the panel using straight, overlapping horizontal and vertical lines (criss-cross motion).

5. Flash & Level: Once flashing/beading occurs (typically around 30 seconds under normal conditions), immediately level and wipe away excess residue using the dark grey Nasiol Microfiber Cloth in smooth, linear motions.

6. Final Buff: Complete each section by flipping to a clean side of the microfiber cloth and performing a light, circular buffing pass to reveal a streak-free, ultra-gloss finish.

7. Maintain Media Freshness: Dispose of or replace the suede cloth after coating every 3 to 4 panel sections.

Phase 3: Post-Coating Cure

• Keep the freshly coated surface completely isolated from direct sunlight, moisture, dust, rain, and aggressive wash chemicals for a 24-hour curing period.
