Nasiol PPFGuard | Professional Nano-Ceramic Coating for Paint Protection Film & Vinyl (50mL)
This is the two-layer first generation product. PPFGuard 2.0 is coming soon.
Elite ceramic defense for premium films. Preserves self-healing properties with an 18-month hydrophobic shield.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) and high-end vinyl wraps represent a massive investment in vehicle preservation, but they remain vulnerable to atmospheric yellowing, deep chemical staining, and losing their slickness. Nasiol PPFGuard is a professional-grade, flexible nano-ceramic coating engineered specifically to bond with the unique elastic chemistry of polyurethane and vinyl films.
Formulated to protect without changing the structural or reflective properties of your film, PPFGuard adds intense hydrophobicity, chemical resistance, and UV blocking power to glossy, matte, and satin wraps alike. Crucially, its advanced flexible formula integrates seamlessly into the substrate—ensuring that premium self-healing PPF films retain their ability to dissipate swirl marks with heat while gaining a long-lasting 18-month defensive barrier.
Why PPF Installers & Master Detailers Choose PPFGuard
-
Flexible Nanostructure Integrity: Unlike rigid paint coatings that can crack or cloud when applied to pliable films, PPFGuard flexes naturally with the film, preserving all factory self-healing properties.
-
18-Month UV & Anti-Yellowing Shield: Packed with heavy-duty UV inhibitors that stop solar radiation from oxidizing, fading, or prematurely yellowing transparent polyurethane films.
-
Universal Film & Sheen Compatibility: Enhances the optical depth of high-gloss films and locks in the clean, sleek look of matte and satin finishes without adding unwanted artificial shine.
-
Streamlined Shop Efficiency: Engineered as a comprehensive standalone system applied in two swift layers just 1 hour apart—eliminating the need for expensive multi-product stacking or secondary toppers.
-
Maximum Chemical Scale Resistance: Repels harsh environmental contaminants, road salt, bug acids, and bird droppings, making film maintenance incredibly simple.
Application Surfaces & Film Guide
PPFGuard is strictly formulated for premium, solvent-resistant exterior automotive films:
| Safe & Recommended For | Do NOT Apply To |
| High-Quality Polyurethane (PU / TPU) Films | Low-Quality, Thin, or Degraded PVC Films |
| Premium Automotive Vinyl Wraps (Gloss/Matte/Satin) | Film Installations with Existing Air Bubbles or Lifting Edges |
| Matte-Finish and Transparent Protection Films | Absorbent Textures, Porous Graphics, or Fabrics |
| Colored Paint Protection Films | Aftermarket Interior Window Tints |
Step-by-Step Professional Installation Protocol
Because PPF and vinyl carry unique surface tensions, adhering strictly to environmental controls and the 2-layer timing window is mandatory for maximum crosslinking:
Phase 1: Film Preparation & Decontamination
-
Wash & Clean: Thoroughly wash the vehicle using a gentle, residue-free shampoo.
-
Optional Film Refining: If the PPF surface shows light marring and the manufacturer rules allow it, polish the film using a completely silicone-free, wax-free finishing compound.
-
Deep Dry & Wipe: Dry the vehicle completely, ensuring water cannot drip out from panel seams during application. Wipe the film down meticulously using Nasiol Clean to guarantee a bare, oil-free substrate.
Phase 2: Dual-Layer Coating Installation
-
Control the Climate: For optimal bonding, work indoors in a shaded bay calibrated as close as possible to 73°F (23°C) and 50% relative humidity. Ensure the film is cool to the touch.
-
Setup Your Media: Wear the included nitrile gloves. Wrap a fresh suede cloth tightly over the foam side of the Nasiol applicator block. Shake the PPFGuard bottle gently.
-
Grid Application: Work in manageable $2' \times 2'$ ($1\text{m}^2$) sections at a time. Apply a sufficient amount of product to the suede cloth using the dropper, and immediately recap the bottle to prevent air contact. Spread the coating evenly using straight, overlapping horizontal and vertical lines. Note: Overlapping section edges will not cause high-spot issues.
-
The Flash & Wipe: Using the enclosed light grey Nasiol Microfiber cloth, carefully level and wipe away excess residue within 30 to 60 seconds of application. Work in smooth, linear motions to avoid creating swirls. Pro Tip: Use a dedicated detailing inspection light to verify that zero residue shadows remain on the film.
-
The 60-Minute Stacking Window: Allow the first layer to flash and settle for exactly 60 minutes, then repeat the entire process to install the mandatory second layer.
Phase 3: Post-Coating Cure Timelines
-
First 24 Hours: Keep the vehicle indoors completely isolated from direct sunlight, standing water, heavy dust, and moisture. The vehicle can be safely taken outdoors after 24 hours.
-
First 48 Hours: Do not expose the freshly coated film to any shampoo or detergent-based washing cycles.
