Are you a touring musician or simply want to keep your instruments looking new?
Nasiol ceramic coatings provide 10H hardness scratch resistance to musical instruments, and do not change the sound or timbre of the instrument. Pick and belt buckle scratches on guitars are dramatically reduced, keeping your investment looking newer for years.
We can ceramic coat any painted or lacquered finish, including: acrylic, urethane, and nitrocellulose. For unfinished woods, we can apply a Nasiol nano coating that will resist water and oil stains better than lemon or boiled linseed oils.
Plastic instruments such as keyboards are coated with a special Nasiol ceramic coating that provides all of the hydrophobic and oleophobic protection without the slipperiness associated with our other ceramic coatings.
Instruments with gloss finishes are cleaned, paint corrected, and ceramic coated. Lacquered instruments are inspected for checking and cracking. All guitars and basses have their strings removed. Instruments must arrive in a hard or soft case. If you wish to have your guitar or bass restrung after coating, please provide a new set of strings at time of drop-off. We will gladly restring your guitar or bass at no extra charge. Setup including Jon's well-tempered intonation method is available for a $50 fee.
If you wish to ceramic coat your instrument at home, consider our Nasiol polishes and ceramic coatings.
